We want to Take Care of our neighbors, including those with difficulty affording home repair services.
Two days a month we offer low cost services, specifically low income & fixed income folks.
Applicants will be assess for need, and services are first come first serve.
We also encourage community organizations to reach out to us to partner on projects.

What is Pay-What-You-Can?
Some times called “sliding scale,” this means you can pay what you can towards the cost of a home repair project. Basically, we ask that you pay for the cost of materials, and we provide the labor even if you can’t afford to pay market rate.
Which services does this include?
During our Home Repair Clinic we offer any of our home repair service which require no more than 8 labor hours. This could be repair a leaky faucet, repair a exterior door, fix a broken deck, or build a wheel chair ramp.
That being said we do not do any work that requires working with sewage pipes, pest control, landscaping, tree work, or extensive digging.
How do i know if i qualify?
- If your annual household income, is less than $28,000, or
- If you are a wage earner making $14 an hour or less.
How does Take Care Repair choose?
Each month we will review the applicants and choose jobs that fill two full days of work for us.
If there are many applicant for a given month we may not get to everyone, and will prioritize urgent and non-cosmetic home repairs.
